Who we are
Yardline (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides growth services to independent car dealerships in New Zealand. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. You can contact us at contact@yardline.co.nz.
Information we collect
- Information you give us — your name, email address, phone number, dealership name and details you provide when you book a call, email us or fill in a form on this site.
- Information collected automatically — standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring pages, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Advertising and analytics
We use analytics and advertising tools — which may include the Meta (Facebook) pixel, Google tools and similar technologies — to understand how visitors use this site and to measure and improve our own advertising. These tools may set cookies and receive standard event data (such as page views) from your browser. You can limit tracking through your browser settings and through the ad preference tools offered by those platforms.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised session activity — such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement — so we can see how the site is used and improve it. Clarity masks text entered into forms by default and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
How we use your information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as scheduling, email and analytics providers), and only to the extent needed to do so.

Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Email contact@yardline.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
